Buzzword Seamless Integration
As usual, November is the busiest part of the year for us – the harvest marks the end of work in the field and means the beginning of the “indoor season” with all the fairs lining up one after the other all over the world.
Last week, we opened our autumn fair season in Bologna, Italy, at EIMA 2016. Along with presenting PANTHEON Farming solutions with our Agro IT project partners at the booth organized by our partner company Pessl Intruments, we held a conference marking the end of a three-year AgroIT project and a press conference.
The conference titled “AgroIT Cloud Platform: The Enabler of Integrations for Digital Farming” was a great success, with more than 50 people tuning in to experts sharing experience from their fields. We covered everything from weather forecasting in the future and digitally connected vineyards, to decision support systems for smart farming, vehicle tracking and new technologies, such as NB-IoT.
Together we came to the conclusion that we should embrace technology that is available and harness its power to make a better future – for us and for future generations. The buzzword is “seamless integration”, making life easier for our clients – THE FARMER.
We agreed that we should aim to make future innovations as simple and as user-friendly as possible and leave farmers with a set of actionable information all in one place, instead of a spaghetti of data they have difficulty understanding, let alone utilizing. And most importantly, to help build a better connected world.
